Lost In A Photo
an excerpt

A slight gust of wind blew through the leaves causing the red panda to blink. Dan's finger relaxed it's pressure on the trigger. It wouldn't do to take a shot of a red panda with it's eye's closed.

Dan let out a small breadth hoping to neither disturb the red panda a mere ten feet in front of him nor the careful calibrations he had made to his equipment. Carefully, Dan winked into the viewfinder, straining to keep his tired eyes wide for detail while gently moving his left hand up the side of the tripod, it's destination the lens on his camera. Dan made a slight adjustment to the focus, opened his other eye to double check the fading sunlight. The sun had mere moments left on this side of the globe and Dan was losing more of them every time the red panda blinked.

Half pressing the button his camera, Dans Canon EOS Mark III's LED gave him a reassuring green blink to assure him that yes his exposure was correct.

"Alright, here we go." Dan mouthed, more to himself then to anyone else who was littered around the makeshift studio/exhibit.
