Brief Author Bio:

This is my first year for NaNo and I am excited to start and finish it!

Synopsis: Hush.

Lily-Rose Madison Harper. She's a junior in high school who is filled with love for everyone, everything. Everyone respects her and she is known for her caring personality. She lives with her small, but mostly perfect, family. Her brother, mother, and father.
But, what is shown on the outside isn't all of her. Her biggest secret is that she has a hole in her and wants the hole to go away, to be filled with love or something that feels right, that completes her. She begins to find that a boy named Coby has the power to cover the hole. Lily is so afraid that she'll be lonely for her whole life, that now that she has found Coby, someone that can make her feel whole, she doesn't want to let him go. No matter how hard or badly he hurts her.

Excerpt: Hush.

Coby scooted forward on the blankets. "There are billions of people in the world. That doesn't mean that you have to go all over it to try and find this guy. You probably don't even have to go outside of the school."
Lily held her facial expression, but inside everything started to vibrate in response to his words.
Him! He means himself!
That was heavy.
You already know that he eases the pain, and you've yet to really do anything with him. He's the one, for sure.
Don't let him go. No one else can fill this hole. Only him.
Instead of letting any of these thoughts burst through, she simply nodded and said, "You're right. In fact, the other part of the secret is that I've found someone that eases the pain. I just don't know how to go about... Going further..."
"Go for it. It’s all or nothing. And I doubt it'll be nothing for you.
Can you not smellhearseefeeltaste the things he is implying towards you?
"Well," she said as she shot up into a standing position. "We can talk about this more if we want to tomorrow. But for now, I think we should call it a day." She untangled her feet from the blankets and stepped backwards. "Too much information for someone in one day, right?"
Coby smiled. "Yea," he agreed. "I'll be heading home now, then."
Lily turned and walked in front of him down the hall. She walked him all the way to the door, but before he touched the doorknob he turned to her and moved towards her. He got close. She backed up. He was less than half a foot away. She was backed up against the wall.
He was tall, but his head was dipped low so his mouth was over her nose, a few inches away. His hands were stretched out on either side of her. She was trapped. She couldn't go anywhere... If she wanted to go anywhere. "Thanks for being my partner," he said, slightly whispering, softly. "I enjoyed being yours and getting to know you."
She could feel his breath on her skin.
You like it.
Enjoy it.
Are you in pain?
She wasn't. She felt good. She closed her eyes to try to picture his scent, remember it, become acquainted with it.
Don't let this go.
When she opened them, he was standing a foot away from her.
"Goodbye for now," he said.
She nodded; she knew that she could not speak well at the moment. He opened the door, slipped through it, closed it, and was gone.
"Bye," she whispered.
She slid down the wall and started to smile. Both unfortunately and fortunately, she heard a car door and another car door slam. Coby had left a while ago so she knew that these noises belonged to family members. She stood up and went into her room. After she heard the front door open and close, she left her room to go back into the living room to welcome them home. She was still smiling
