Brief Author Bio: Tassel is my actual nickname. Long story. Also, my NaNoMail appears to be moody, so if you're trying to get ahold of me and I'm ignoring you... sorry. It's not intentional. |

Synopsis: Double Vision
When she was a toddler, she didn't know she was different. As a young child, she assumed that she was simply supposed to keep it secret. As a preteen, she began to realize that her life was abnormal - but pushed it from her mind, preferring to remain shrouded in her childhood ignorance.
But when she moves to Chatanwa, Virginia, she is suddenly and violently exposed to the truth - because normal people don't have two bodies. She is both Amanda, the well-settled Virginia girl, and Gwen, the new student from Nebraska. But far more important than acceptance from her peers... is acceptance from herself.
Her inner turmoil is periodically interrupted, though, by strange letters, always written in purple cursive and sealed in a blue envelope without a return address. The letters become increasingly frightening as the author seems to know more and more about Gwen and Amanda's life - and each time, the letter is signed, "Mom".
A psychological drama gone mystery, Double Vision tells the story of a teenager trapped between two lives, a psychopath convinced that her dead daughter is actually right in front of her, and how both search for peace - even if they must get in the other's way.
