Brief Author Bio: I'm just going to try to hit all the basics first. I live in Seattle, Washington and am a proud Seattlite. In fact, this city and the people in it are a huge inspiration for me. I've been writing since fifth grade, even if it's been just short stories and poems. I did NaNoWriMo last year and only got 25K, so I'm hoping this year will be better. Okay, cooler stuff now. I like all kinds of music (except most rap and country, but really I'll listen to anything), especially rock, metal, electronic, and alternative/indie. I like books about love and death, teenagers with weird problems, and interesting plots with hidden meanings. I'm half Japanese and half everything else. I don't like tomatoes or strange cheese, but I love my mom's homemade food and anything Mexican. The egg, to get to the other side, Windows, cats. |

Synopsis: Misguided Ghosts
"I'm just one of those ghosts
Traveling endlessly
Don't need no road
In fact they follow me"
-Misguided Ghosts, by Paramore
Excerpt: Misguided Ghosts
I lead everyone into the cave. The smell of blood looms around us. Gen rubs the side of her face, smearing mud.
“They’ve gotten worse,” she says. “The hike up here almost did some of them in.”
I glance around. Most are lying on the dirty, empty floor. I tighten my lips.
“I wonder what Jay would have done,” Gen murmurs, and I grow faint. The room is spinning, and there is only one word I can think of: Jay. And I start remembering when I fell in love with him.
