Brief Author Bio:

I'm a nublet to Nano, and am eager to start writing... If only I could write something... XD,
I've wanted to start writing a novel before, but always stopped halfway finding that my storyline was going nowhere. I'm hoping that Nanowrimo will help me get past that point in my writing. :3

Excerpt:

Something should have refrained her from blurting out, she knew it as soon as the last word rolled off her tongue and into the brisk night air. The girl across from her, in her teens, froze momentarily, as if letting the very words seep into her pale skin. Her dark eyes seemed to be fixed on no particular object, their black hinted irises glinting ambitiously. “They were very dark times, you have no business knowing.” Her mouth moved slowly over the syllables, only a hush whisper emerging.
“I don’t care how dark they are. You, yourself, said, ‘she will have to find out somehow’, am I correct? So why don’t you just tell me now?” Once again, the woman went silent. Her expressionless face held no answers to the question she so desperately wanted to hear. Yet, why was she so motionless, letting not even a single word slip? The answer to that was obvious, she must have known she was hiding something. Something she wants oh so very much…. “I want to know… Tell me, mother, tell me now!”
Shock engulfed her woman’s pale features, and her once glazed gaze turned to a look of hatred. “Don’t you dare ever speaking to me, you sick, merciless girl! You’re despicable, the way you toss around taunts to get what you want! And I have news for you, you are never, ever getting any information out of me!”
The girl’s mouth slid into a crooked smile. “Well isn’t this ironic? You used to love me to death, didn’t you? But now? Is this how you treat your own daughter?!”
“You are no daughter of mine anymore. My daughter could never hurt anybody, especially not her sister! She’s almost DEAD because of you!”
“She’s just where she belongs. Don’t you see? She was never meant to live in the first place. She was scum, dirt, vile, ever since you brought her into this world!” Her hand pounded the air in a tight fist, before it found its graceful way to her thighs again. “NOW, mother! Tell me where I can find it!”
“Whether you like it or not, Evani, you aren’t going to find it, not from your father, not from your brother, and most definitely, not from me!” The smirk on Evani’s face turned into a frown.
“You can disagree all you want, not like it’s going to stop me. I am going to find it, and when I do,” her voice became high and shrill, “ you will be the first to go on my list.” She raised her hands and placed them behind her head, the repulsing smirk returning.
Her heart beat faster and faster, adrenaline pumping through her veins. “Don’t worry, you won’t be getting that far before going through me, first. And believe me, I will do everything in my power to protect my little girl!”
Evani snarled. “We’ll just have to see about that, now won’t we?”
