Synopsis: Dusting Off Angels

All Michael wanted was a raise.

Floating somewhere in the skies, a city called Secondary exists for a single purpose-- to make sure our world is running smoothly. When seventeen year old Michael Horbiger goes along with his boss for a conference with an association of demons, he expects to gain business experience needed for his dream job: heading the Lower Kingdom Correspondence, which deals with all things that go bump in the dark. What he isn't prepared for is the human girl dangling above the conference table, whose soul had been sold to a demon.

In a whirl of secret meetings and a suprisingly blooming relationship, Michael and the unfortunately enslaved Julia get swept up in a complicated game of inter-world politics that involves everything light, dark, and in between. With the help of Lady Luck, a tragically misunderstood angel, and an old man who sells broomsticks, Secondary's boundaries and priorities begin to shift under the pressure of attack. There's only one problem-- who is the actual enemy here?

Well, that's a lie. There are a lot more problems, too. But there is only one option left-- to dust off the angel wings and defend all that's sacred with eveything Secondary's got.
