Brief Author Bio: You will find me writing crazily in my notebook in one moment, and then in the next, my page is covered in drawings. I will start singing and then began dancing to the music. Thoughts often leading to dreaming, dreaming to poetry. Playing the piano loudly, powerfully, till it beats in my soul. Designing graphics, making them meld together into a blend. Laughing till my sides hurt. Crying nostalgically. Feeling raw emotions pound in my spirit. Praising the King of Kings. I am a Christian, and every day I am getting closer to who I was created to be. I aspire to be the maiden I was created as. I will, and continue to. This is who I am, and this is who I shall be. And never, shall I stop praising my God, my King. Synopsis: Remix
Eirad lives in a world where power has corrupted even the most pure of people. Those who have technology are the gifted ones...but those who know nature are even more so.
Rogue teams have joined up, all in hopes that they will be able to overthrow the one who caused all the pain that ravaged their world. Alliances are formed, trust is broken, and a betrayal nearly ruins all chance that they have.
In a place so broken and destroyed, is it possible for it to be started anew? Or will it crumble and die...broken with the evil that engulfs. The one way for it to be reborn is to be remixed; to be cleansed of as much damage as possible, in order for balance to once again be achieved.
The odds against them, the rogue teams become an army, and amasses enough men to carry through their plan; with the help of several Nature-Seers, they stand a chance against the technology and frightening forces of the enemy.
But when Eirad doubts; when she begins to lose faith...that is the most crucial moment of all. And before she continues, she must be remixed. Or else all chance of fixing the world will be gone.
Forever.

(Is it normal to have your prologue be 16 pages [in georgia, size 11, and 1.5 spaced]? *gets eaten by the long-prologue-writing-author-busters O.O)
Eirad scrubbed the clay pot harder, her fingernails clicking against the smooth surface. She groaned quietly, rolling her eyes and sighing.
I’m always the one stuck washing pots. Where is Edana when I need her? She moaned quietly and rolled up her sleeves as they threatened to immerse themselves in the dirty water.
“Eirad,” Edana came running in through the front door, “Eirad, Ronan is back!” Her cousin yelled excitedly. Ronan was Edana’s older brother, and he had just returned from a hunt.
Eirad’s grumpiness over dishwashing immediately turned into excitement. “He is? When did he arrive? Why didn’t you tell me sooner?” She scowled at Edana.
Edana grabbed her hands and laughed, “He just got back, silly, and he has several nice deer from what I’ve heard.” She cocked her head and grinned slyly at her cousin, “Isas brought back many deer, as well.” She said casually.
Eirad tossed her black hair back haughtily, blushing and grinning at Edana. “What on earth makes you think that I would care what Isas killed?” She grinned shyly, then counteracted Edana. “How did Karel do?”
Edana flushed a hot red. “How should I know?” She snapped peevishly, but a smile broke across her face.
Eirad grinned and laughed. She dipped her hands in the soapy water and flung them at Edana, splattering water droplets all over her.
Edana shrieked girlishly and went mock-angry. “Oh, no, you don’t!” She lunged for the water bowl and dumped it on Eirad.
Eirad cried out as the cold water soaked her. She raised her eyebrows and glanced at Edana under half-closed lids. “Now, was that really wise?” Fighting to hide her giddiness, she picked up a half-empty jug of water and splashed it on Edana.
Edana shrieked again and dashed for Eirad, tackling her onto the floor.
“You know that you can’t wrestle with me!” Eirad laughed, “I’m much stronger, and besides, it isn’t lady-like.” She struggled to hide a groan at that.
Edana grinned mischievously. “Oh, no, lady, I’m not going to wrestle you. You are most certainly right—that isn’t ladylike,” she clucked sadly, “but no one said that tickling wasn’t!”
A tickling match ensued which left both girls fighting for breath, in between spasms of laughter. They leaned against the wall, holding their stomachs, chortling.
Eirad’s black hair and Edana’s blond dripped onto the floor, making a tapping sound. After they had quieted down a bit, Eirad spoke.
“I-won.” She said, bursting into laughter again.
“Oh, no, you didn’t!” Cried Edana, which lead to more tickling.
Finally, they both moaned happily and stood up, breathless. Edana picked up a rag and began to halfheartedly soak up the leftover water on the floor.
“It was a draw.” She said finally, seriousness plastering itself over her grin. Eirad smiled and she let out a deep sigh of contentment.
A more interesting excerpt coming...maybe...^^
