Instead of the normal English route in college, I majored in history and found enough resources to last me a lifetime. I gravitate towards steampunk and Victorian fantasy as my natural playground. Synopsis: The Midnight Sun
In the broken ruins of an ancient archaeological site, Helene watched the demon Azrael rise back into the human world after a centuries-long imprisonment. Together with an excommunicated paladin, Helene will descend into the byzantine city, where she will track Azrael through industrial factories and baroque universities, seeking to stop him before the day of Ascension, when the thirteenth month draws to its dangerous close.
