I'm a 17 year old male who's finally decided to take his creativity to the next level. I've always been very esoteric, far more eloquent than my peers, and possess a genuine desire to better myself intellectually. One could call me a Renaissance man for all the knowledge I pursue! I love novels that play around with the human mind, and cause the reader to question reality. I feel that to engage the reader in such a way is the epitome of how powerful the written word can be.

I also like 'inspirational' novels. I've grown up in a 'disadvantaged' situation, and have suffered more than my fair share of abuse, but have learned to turn tragedy into triumph, and to grow with each experience. I try to learn and become better through everything, even if there seems to be no positive side in a situation. I feel books that focus on how even the most downtrodden can be great are especially uplifting to those who are suffering.
