Brief Author Bio: I've lived all over the place, often in stinky little desert towns, so my work reflects my often cynical outlook... but I'm still a nice guy. My two favorite settings for stories are lush, verdant fantasy worlds and dark, rusty underground industrial complexes. Not really sure why. |

Synopsis: Dream Chasers
Loosely based on a dream I had a long time ago. A lizard-boy leaves his hometown to find a better life. He rides across the sea on the back of a serpent, where he meets a cricket-boy of about his age. The cricket tells him about a recurring dream he has, which involves only the image of a place and nothing more, and the lizard convinces the cricket to come with him to find it. So they set out on a journey.
That title I have right now sucks.
Excerpt: Dream Chasers
The racket they made was incredible, like a chaotic parade. Twelve lizards, lushly varied colors, all children and still very small, clothed only in loose-fitting pants, were walking from stall to stall on the market street. The vendors eyed them warily; though they weren't entirely certain why, they knew that they didn't want this group stopping at their place.
