Almost changed careers in middle age to become a clinical psychologist but life threw me a big curve.
Am working on a master's degree in technical communication (via distance learning).
Have worked in high technology settings (aerospace, defense, medical, communication, Internet, higher education).
Have lived in Georgia, Tennesee, Colorado, California, and Florida.
Have traveled to Europe twice, Mexico once.
Hobbies over the years have included reading, hiking and camping, four wheeling, running and physical fitness, music, painting, target shooting, personal computing, web site development.
Academic interests have included psychology, neuroscience, and artificial intelligence.
Divorced father of teenage son (who is handicapped) and daughter. I love them dearly.
Member of a small country Baptist church.
