Brief Author Bio:

Twenty something who is old enough to know, but young enough not to say no to any chance that she gets. Stereotypical first born... for better or for worse. Can listen to the same song over and over and over again and not get sick of it. Likes to drink pops/sodas/cokes/carbonated beverages way more than is healthy. Has a propensity to fan girl when it comes to certain things. Is a fur mommy to a wonderfully crazy beagle. Still has her blankie and will cuddle with it at end of a bad day. Loves history, especially the study of prostitution and high end brothels in early 1900s America. Thinks winter should go away and never come back.

Synopsis: To Tie A Knot

When you are at the end of your rope, tie a knot in it and hang on. - Franklin D. Roosevelt

In a matter of hours, Violet's picture perfect existence is shattered. As someone who believes that timing is everything, and everything happens for a reason, she finds herself lost in her new reality, unable to understand the timing and reasoning. Slowly, but surely, she regains her footing, surprised to discover meaning where she thought there was none. As she struggles to find her new place in the world, Violet finds herself asking, does the past define us, or the future?
