A decade after Islamic extremists destroy both communications and the heaviest populated areas of the world with bombs and plagues, a young boy growing up in the harsh prairies of north central Montana chronicles life in his diary. His world, his life, and the writings and thoughts of his family and friends display a picture of hardship, fear and simple survival.
