Synopsis: Claw and Horn

Synadoe has lived under the protection of her herd and her father all her life. She's had her eye on lifelong friend Shallom, a unicorn. Then one day, Eleanor appears, injured and weak. Though he comes from a smaller breed of dragons, the herd is cynical, and leaves him to die. He came from a group of dragons who were all scattered or destroyed. He's one of the few survivors, but he won't be for long. Synadoe nurses him back to health, and as she does, she realizes that she's falling for him too. Shallom is everything she's ever needed, and Eleanor is everything she's ever wanted. Now she's trapped between loving her lifelong best friend and a new charmer. Neither of them is good for her, and her father would never approve, much less the herd. It's only a matter of time before one of the lovers finds out about the other. In the midst of everything, Synadoe learns that it's not just centaur blood that flows through her veins. Her birth name was Cloud, but on the day of her birth, her father took her away from her mother and changed her name to something more suitable, and never spoke of her mother again. All Synadoe knows is it was someone "outside the herd". One night, Synadoe learns a whole lot more about her past then her or her father bargained for. After a terrible accident with two of her friends in the woods, she is disowned by her father and the herd. She must confront her father about his past, and she also discovers that she is pregnant. Should Synadoe seek out her mother, or inform the father? And will Synadoe's child have to pay the price for her parents mistakes?
