Brief Author Bio: I'm a Freshman in college, going for Creative Writing at the moment- although that may change, since I'm not entirely certain of my abilities OR the fact that I'll be able to get a decent job with that degree. ^^; I'm a north country girl, and thus everything I write is usually based in New England. The story I'm doing for this year is terribly generic (not surprising, as I came up with it almost seven years ago), but I desperately wanted to re-write it and make it more realistic. It's mostly a challenge to myself this year, and a chance to re-make a concept from my childhood. I don't expect it to come out very well, or to to ever be published- I just want to prove to myself that I can write, and do it decently. |

Synopsis: Magik?
When highschool student Milena starts having vivid, terrifying daydreams, she figures it's just some sort of mental breakdown. Not that it would be surprising- despite the support of her two friends Trixie and Jewel, things aren't exactly going well in her life. Especially after the hallucinations start.
But when all three are literally drawn into another world, it's a little hard to explain away. The fact that they're part of a group of seven kids destined to save the world is even harder to believe. Magical weapons, dragons and the like, bandits, some sort of plot to destroy the world . . . Exactly how're three typical girls supposed to deal with this?
Welcome to this re-re-imagining of "Magik?" , a seven-year-old story that's full of generic cliches and stupidity.
