Brief Author Bio: I'm a 25 year old female college student struggling through the rigors of adult responsibility, most notably, knowing what I want to do with my life =P. I've been interested in writing for quite a while and figured getting involved with NaNoWriMo would be a good way to get started. I'm a born and raised Tennessean, but have only lived in Cookeville for the past seven years. I'm married and live on approximately 4.3 acres off Hwy 70 with two tenants, a dog, two cats, two goats, and two chickens...guess I need to get another dog. ;P |

Synopsis: Working Title: Vampires in Space! (sorry, I just find it funny, lol)

Excerpt: Working Title: Vampires in Space! (sorry, I just find it funny, lol)
Flopping out of the tub, she all but crawled to her clothes. Struggling to put them on, she noticed yet another part of her had changed. A long, equally furry tail was now present, emerging out of her tail bone. Currently, it was flopping around on the floor limply as she moved. “Great. That's fucking great!” she muttered. “What am I, a were-monkey?!” She began stuffing the tail into her pajama pants, only to discover it was rather sensitive, so she decided to let it hang freely. Stumbling towards the door, she peaked out to make sure no one was in the hallway. Darting out, she scrambled as quickly as was possible back into her room, and hunted around for a bathrobe and something else to cover her head. Grabbing her hoodie, she put it on over her robe. Shuffling back out she proceeded carefully down stairs. Her dad was in the kitchen, preparing the table for their take-out dinner.
