Brief Author Bio: My name is Chris. I live with my partner Jeff and our cats Maus and Jack. I am the editor and publisher of M-Brane SF Magazine and the new anthology of GLBTQ science fiction Things We Are Not. Though I am a chef by trade, I am trying to change my vocation to one based more in publishing. This is the first time I have participated in NaNoWriMo, and I will be using the time in an attempt to write a "literary" novel that has been working in my imagination for a while. |

Synopsis: My Life With the Diane Rehm Show
When his partner of a decade dies of an illness, Matteo is left with a homelife in ruins, a stepson that he does not understand, and the remnants of his partner’s career that seem to persist online after his death. One day, a mysterious dust storm descends, and Matteo sees in its winds a strange new future. At the same time, his stepson Arthur-Rimbaud finds new direction in a piece of his late father’s work, an odd journal titled “My Life With the Diane Rehm Show.”
