Brief Author Bio: Deep down, my subconscious is convinced that someday I'll finish one of these crappy novels, get published, make millions, and be set for life. In the face of reality, however, I'm fighting my way through a Theater/English double-major at SFSU with hopes of becoming a stage director and maybe even teaching theater someday. I'm facinated with history, I read as though my life depends on it, I cross stitch more than your grandmother, and yes, you may have a cookie. |

Synopsis: Mortal Coyle
Mathematical prodigy Millicent Prynne had always hoped to be the first female accountant in a London banking firm. Her mother had always hoped Millicent would marry an Earl. They compromised with the dull but respectable position of coat check girl at the Whistle & Steam, the formost club of nobility, MPs, and even royalty. After all, reasoned Mrs. Prynne, it would only be a matter of time before Millie caught the attention of some properly-titled gentleman, and then she would settle down.
A mechanically-armed spy in hot pursuit of a dangerous criminal mastermind wasn't exactly what her mother'd had in mind. But when the unassuming Mr. Coyle offers Millicent a position as a financial advisor in his strange underground network of contacts, Millie accepts. As she meets her fellow contacts, including a hemophiliac assassin, a retired engineer who builds body parts out of diassembled clocks, and an agoraphobic crypt-dweller whose prototype-computers contain the largest library in London, Millie begins to realize that Coyle's hunt for his mysterious nemesis goes beyond a personal feud to twarting a plan that could affect the entire nation, and perhaps the world if not stopped. Still, a chance to break away from the societal de rigueur is worth a little danger...isn't it?
