Synopsis: The Geek Girl's Guide to (Barely) Surviving Freshman Year
When Taylor Martin is offered an academic scholarship to one of the top technology institutes in the country, she figures she's got it made. At least, she does until she gets stuck signing up for introductory computer science courses, her best friend ditches her to go to art school, and she manages to trip over a dead body her first day on campus. If that weren't enough, she can't seem to stop acting like an idiot in front of her gorgeous TA, and there's something seriously weird about her new roommate.
Then another body turns up, and Taylor has a whole new set of problems. Because she's the only witness to a death that's suddenly looking a lot like homicide, and a series of bizarre accidents leads her to suspect she's next on the killer's list.
Too bad the "how to survive college" book her mother gave her doesn't have a chapter on not getting murdered.
