Full disclosure - I'm actually a poet. I love to write but, so far, have stuck with shorter, easier-to-manage forms.

I thought NaNoWriMo would be a great way to flex creative muscles that I don't really use, and see what I can do. I also need to stop editing my work every three lines. Seriously. It's a terrible habit.

I'm a transplanted Sudburian who - along with several thousand other Northerners - currently lives in Toronto. I work for a small media relations firm and manage an indie music label/collective on the side. This is either the love of my life or the bane of my existence. I haven't decided which, yet.

@all participating Toronto writiers - anyone out there interested in starting a writer's workshop goup? I could totally use the external stimulation. =)
