Synopsis: Wolf At The Door

Marianne Xu is back from London and harboring a lot of hurt and pain from her inability to transform from human to wolf. Influenced by the supremacist ("pure wolf") ideology of her boyfriend Steve, Marianne directs her ire at her sister, Jan. It is sibling rivalry, albeit werewolf style, set in the cosmopolitan world of Singapore

Excerpt: Wolf At The Door

The Lang often dream of the Ancestral Forest, way back in China or somewhere in the wild borderlands between China and Xinjiang. Our folk tales are replete with the grey howlers of the snowy steppes and the silent hunters of the Mongolian landscape, whispering of the tall pine trees lush with green and masked by the layers of mist and time. To us, the Ancestral Forest is part of this mythical world, embedded in our psyche and DNA. We have not lost the connection to the Forest even though we now live in a world of concrete and neck-to-neck human congestion. The Forest comes to us in dreams, in whispers in between sleep and wakefulness.
