Synopsis: Confiteor

The Confiteor: an act of contrition, a confession of guilt, an admission of sin.

A Catholic priest is found dead in a north Dublin church, apparently the victim of a burglary gone wrong. Later that same night a retired nun calls a radio phone-in show and kills herself "on-air."

Garda Superintendent Terry Lyons, a practicing Catholic, sees no connection between the two cases. But there is. A killer is looking for forgiveness and will murder anyone who gets in his way.
