Excerpt: A Forgotten Hope
Evil has conquered, all of our souls,
Has taken life, it’s strongest goal
I tried to fight it, that you must know.
But everything is, lost.
There’s no such thing, as light and dark
I have been shown this, it broke my heart
There’s one thing left, the sweet and silent
Darkness.
If there is meaning, to life itself
It is to die, to forever cry
The world is gone, and I can’t feel
Anything.
Hope was my heart, my savior in life
But now she’s gone, gone with the sun
The moon has faded, and with it, I am
Vanishing.
