Brief Author Bio: Well, my name is Gabrielle Lynne. I've been writing ever since I was little, my first serious continued story about a perfect camp that was not what it appeared. Yet still, I never really got into writing until I was in middle school. Even through all of those years, I've never written anything as massive as 50k+ words, much less 25k or even 15. Yet here I am, halfway through, and loving it. :D It's making me fall back in love with writing again. |

Synopsis: Cubed
Shiloh Marie Brooks is tired of the boring old life in Twisted Oaks, her mundane neighborhood slash community that she's lived in her entire life. Same old boys, same old friends, and same old hangouts. Shiloh is counting down the days until she can break free from Twisted Oaks' grasp to meet new people, experience new things, and get out of the normal rut she's been stuck in since she was in diapers. Well, she was ready and rearing. Until three mysterious, identical teens move into the neighborhood and threaten to crack the very foundation that it was based upon.

Caleb shrugged, leaning against the back of tree casually, as if they were doing nothing there but hanging out rather than having a discussion about dreams. “It’s your dream, Shiloh. If you like it, you change it, but I’m content to sit here and wait. What I truly desire to do is go steal some panties, but you are being a butt head so I will wait.”
As he spoke, he slid down ever so slowly, throwing caution to the wind towards the end and letting his head thud against a particularly knotted tree root sticking up from the ground with a rather nasty thump. His eyes rolled around in his head for a moment, and Shiloh was concerned, but his eyes closed then and his breathing became regular, signifying that he was sleeping or passed out, which of the two Shiloh could not be sure, but at least he wasn’t awake to scramble her dream any more than it already was.
“Fine, Caleb. Leave me alone in the middle of these unfamiliar woods and let me get eaten by whatever wild animals could be out here. Heck, maybe something will eat you too. You aren’t even awake, so you might as well just be fresh pickings.” She waved her arms around, as if beckoning any animal that so desired to come feast upon the sleeping body of her new friend. After a few minutes, she began to feel a little ridiculous, and she was soooo tired, so she sank beside him on the ground and lay next to him, resting her head on his muscular torso just above his heart. It was steady, and with each one resounded the whoosh of blood as it circulated through his body and went through all the bodily functions required for life. He made a comfortable pillow, and Shiloh was beginning to remember the feel of his arms under her knees and supporting her back the night he had carried her in from the car. She wouldn’t mind if he did that again, not at all. Except…
