Hello! My name is Shannon. I'm a Hogwarts graduate, unicorn enthusiast, time traveler, and I still very much enjoy fangirling Sailor Moon. My hobbies include baking cupcakes and snickerdoodles, collecting plushies, and starting discussions/fangirling with complete strangers in the YA section at Barnes and Noble when they are reading the inside flap of a book I've already read and loved. I adore My Chemical Romance, paranormal literature (ghosties! wizards! vampires! werewolves!), Hayao Miyazaki movies, anime, manga, Sanrio, Disney, Mad Hatters named Hatter, Harry Potter, old-school Nickelodeon shows, Halloween, Christmas, hanging out in pumpkin patches, and quiet, snowy nights. I hate dentists' offices, people who substitute the letter u for the word with the exception of chat-speak that's only employed in a humorous context, people who leave their pets in cars with the windows rolled up, and disgustingly hot and humid weather.

I have a kitty named Butterscotch and I love him to bits and whenever I move out, I plan to take him with me and buy a pitbull so I can be like Veronica Mars and so Butterscotch can have a best friend (hopefully Marshmallow [the pitbull's name, obviously] won't eat him, though).
