Brief Author Bio: I'm 44 years old and currently unemployed. I spent the last 13 years in the publishing industry, working with high-profile medical journals. I have one completed novel manuscript that I need to edit and rework, and I am working on a few more. The manuscript I will be working on was inspired by Reba's recording of Maggie Creek Road. This is the first time I am tackling NaNoWriMo. |

Synopsis: Maggie Creek Road
Prom Night - After winning the title of Homecoming Queen, a girl is invited out to an After Party. Flattered that she's been asked because, while attractive, she is not one of the popular kids because she's not that intelligent, she agrees. The only others at the party are a bunch of graduating senior guys, and the girl is raped and murdered.
Jump 25 years, the guys have all gotten married and settled down. The area where the girl was murdered has been developed to a new gated community. The family of one of the guys has moved into the area. His daughter becomes possessed by the spirit of the murdered girl and sets out to get her revenge on those who killed her.
