Brief Author Bio: I grew up in North Bend, WA and moved away for a bit to explore a few other places in the world. I ended up back in valley and Snoqualmie Pass and was so happy to be back. I still am. What a beautiful place to live. I can even say that after two floods! I met my husband, Chris, the Aussie, at the North Bend Bar and Grill 10 years ago, working as a bartender and server there. I currently work for the "Evil Empire" Microsoft and I absolutely love it. What a truly great company. I also have a 13 year old step-son, Bryce, who is the light of my life. My sistor, "The Great Illistrator," lives in North Bend with my brother-in-law and my mom and dad are also here. It is a true blessing to have my family so close by. |

Synopsis: Game of Elämä
Chrysalis was born to a planet that experiences constant peace and harmony. Her people do not know of war or hatred for one another. They live as one with the universe. Their knowing is incomprehensible to the mind of a typical human found on the planet Earth, yet the people of Elämä are very familiar with the minds of Earthlings.
Over 100 years ago, the planet Elämä was in the midst of the greatest war the people had ever known. Most assumed this period of time would ultimately destroy their planet, but the "Great Peace Master" led the planet to change.
Following the destruction, a process was needed in order to ensure the continued enlightenment of their people, generation after generation, without destroying their own planet again. To this end, the Games of Elämä were created.
This game is no game. In actuality you become the characters that you are playing. In fact you are not even aware that you are who you are; the trance is so complete. Your soul is split. Enough of your soul remains on Elämä to ensure the life force of your body, but enough is away that the mind believes yourself to be elsewhere.
Students learn what it truly means to be human and how to overcome any challenge put in their way. Who are the winners and who ultimately loses? What are these lessons and why are they so important to the ultimate survival of all life forms?
Come along on this great adventure of the enlightened as they experience the universe on a whole new level.
Excerpt: Game of Elämä
As she sat down on the hillside with the other children, she saw Leximon, who she had fought with last week. Why did she have to get the same game as Leximon??? Of all of the children in her classes, why would she be forced to live a life with Leximon? This just was not fair. How could anyone think that anything good could come from an arrangement like this? Leximon was a monster and should be banished from playing these games. These games were for those that had graduated to the 2nd level. Well, there was nothing to be done about it. She would play.
