Brief Author Bio: Little is known about this strange speciman, though it is believed to spend unhealthy amounts of time typing away at the computer, often neglecting scool work and chores to do so. Although we are not certain, it is believed that the rare 'Hannah Jane' is in fact a female. Take warning, if you see one in the wild outside of a structured environment, keep your distance! As friendly as it seems, Hannah is an untamed, wild creature and may very well bite you if she feels threatened. Hannah is far from a sane individual, and it is believed she was dropped on her head one too many times as a pup, though in the world of writing, where this particular creature resides, insanity is often beneficial... |

Synopsis: Uthulra
Just because a story about fairies is woven doesn't necessarily mean it fits the bill of a "fairytale". This one certainly does not...
For as long as anyone can remember, the White Ones have ruled the fairy world of Uthulra with supreme power. They are gorgeous, strong, and for the most part they are merciless as well.
Below them in the hierarchy are the Pure Fairies, also beautiful, powerful beings. Most serve the White Ones without question and live in splendor.
Below them rests ninety percent of the population- the Commons. They are the worker bees. Commons have no rights, and are thought of as hardly worth more than dirt. There's no denying the fact that they keep this world running through the menial, strenuous jobs they perform, though each individual Common is thought of as a disposable resource. And things don't seem to be looking up.
When the current queen, a White One named Selene came into power ten years ago, the vast number of Commons was a matter of concern. If they decided to rise up and fight the oppressive system, they would destroy everything the Pures and White Ones had worked so hard to preserve. So, in the hopes of protecting society, she has enforced more laws on the Commons, taking away any bit of freedom they once had.
And quite frankly, most have had enough. A rebellion, led by a young, wistful Common by the name of Rukeo has begun to form. Will they really make an impact on this rigid society? Who knows. It's really rather difficult to say. But Ruke and his gang are determined to do so...or die trying...
Excerpt: Uthulra
After a while of silence and an absence of Tara’s presence, Fuge decided to act decently and find out was wrong. “So, what’s up, Doc? Somethin’ on your mind? Anything you care to share? Unless it’s something lame and boring that’ll make me wanna pass out right here, in which case, forget I asked and carry on with your moping,” he shrugged without even an underlying tone of sarcasm.
Rukeo only shook his head, eyes closed. “Not now…” he moaned. As much as he adored Fuge, everyone did, explaining the situation again didn’t sound like something that would do him any good. He’d explain in the morning.
“I think I’m gonna just sleep.”
Fuge raised an eyebrow in suspicion. “Right there?”
“Mhm.”
“Sitting up? I’d like to see that.”
“Then please- Feel free to watch the show. I don’t charge admission.” And those were the last words he spoke of the night before drifting off into a surprisingly pleasant slumber. Right there. Sitting up.
