Synopsis: To Stir Men's Blood
“For I have neither wit, nor words, nor worth, action nor utterance, nor the power of speech, to stir men’s blood. I only speak right on. I tell you that which you yourselves do know.” - The Tragedy of Julius Caesar, William Shakespeare
Set against the back drop of modern London, a group of Vampires adapt to a newcomer, while trying not to let internal conflict destroy them and their way of life.
Excerpt: To Stir Men's Blood
He reached a hand out and placed it carefully on her waist. She leaned closer, their mouths but an inch apart, wrapping her arms around him and drawing him in. He leant into kiss her, but she turned her head and his lips smoothed over her cheek and neck. She felt his breath against her skin, shallow and excited. His body was shaking a little, full of anticipation. Suddenly, with no warning, pouncing on her prey, she wrapped her legs around his waist and pulling his head roughly to the side felt her fangs extend as she sank her teeth deep into his neck. He breathed heavily, sighing with pleasure, unaware of what was really happening to him as she drank.
