Brief Author Bio: I am a divorced mother of the four coolest, smartest, most talented, most beautiful, wittiest most athletic kids on the planet, who also happen to hold the esteemed honor of being the ONLY people in the world without whom...I simply could not survive. Curiously - I get along with their dad/my ex (well...mostly). I have two ghetto dogs. I am a voracious online dater and at the rate I'm going, it's likely that I will reach maven status before the year comes to a close...*sigh*...Subsequently I have become an irritatingly verbose blogger on the subject (even been called "The Queen of the Modifiers"...this was NOT a compliment) I snowboard in the Winter and play in water as often as and wherever possible - during the Summer. I live in the boondocks. Most of my buddies are absurdly young...I like to party... |

Synopsis: Becoming LuLu
My novel will be somewhat fantastical, but not absurdly so. Expect an interior monologue to be delivered from the perspective of a beloved family dog who (unbeknownst to her owners) grapples with being a human soul frustrated by the physical limitations of the canine form...and - you guessed it - there is a cripplingly sad twist. Inspired by a heavily shrouded, personal childhood tragedy, and through the mind of my lovable protagonist, I will be addressing the residual anger and anguish which has for my whole life, been a silent and painful legacy. My real challenges will be to temper the oftentimes grim subject matter with a lighthearted, even humorous approach...and at the request of my dear children...to omit my trademark profanity...might be difficult, but I'm determined to try...
