Synopsis: My First Novel (an experiment in killing off my inner editor)

A teacher is unwillingly pulled into detective work when one of her students leaves a newborn on her front porch with a note: "Ms. Lancaster, Please keep my baby safe." The mystery of who the student is will be solved in a few chapters; the bigger mystery of how to keep the baby and its mother safe from the murderer of the baby's father will take most of the book to solve. And how Jo Lancaster, teacher and unwilling detective, will learn to be happy without her deceased husband is a mystery that may take a sequel to solve.
