Synopsis: Fusion, Highwayside (temporary title)
A surreal meditation on what separates Time from those which stand and watch it flow by, counting it, waiting.
My spontaneous literary mess, now with occasional fourth wall ruptures (ruptures, so as not to say obliterations, annihilations...).

He stood by the side of the highway, his back to her and his arm outstretched and level with the horizon; at the angle from which she gazed, it appeared as though the four black lines of the highway were strings he held there where the sky disappeared into the shadows of the wasteland, four coarse black strings held in his hand and fanning down to his feet, then past and on behind him.
Wasteland grey, the black lines of the road like strings upon it, the darkly dressed figure and the dull glow of the watch.
“Have you seen gold, before?” he asked, without turning.
