Synopsis: Circumstance
At a Hallowe'en costume party, seventeen-year-old ________ notices two children stealing food off of the buffet table. Once confronted, the orphans reveal that they are in need of help. Their family was attacked by a pack of dogs while on a camping trip. Their father was killed, and their mother disappeared. They’ve returned to their neighborhood to find their house already being lived in by someone else. Putting her teenage life on hold to help them, ______ finds herself falling into a world she’d only heard of in bedtime stories.
