Brief Author Bio: I am both new and old to writing. When I was in sixth grade, I got in trouble at school for writing a story for my baby cousin in math class. I took creative writing in high school...twice. But since then life and children have come in my way more times than not. Last year, after being fired (not fault of my own) from my job, I decided to take it back up again. Although it has been an uphill struggle with real life (my daughter became ill and then I miscarried and went through depression), I am proud to say I am sticking to it more than not. I am compteing in the Survivor Contest at Lit...and not doing too badly. My goal is to finish that contest with three stories in all 35 categories and to complete this challenge as well. Then next year...I want to be published. |
