Brief Author Bio:

It's been five years since I've written a novel I've been satisfied with. I'm going to give it another go. I read a lot, but perhaps not as much as I would like to. I am also a terrible insomniac, so I might as well do something useful.

Synopsis:

A bit of pulp fiction/fan fiction. I swear, there will be no slash. There will, however, be hats.

Excerpt:

He was screaming again.
*****
One step. Just one. The thought repeated itself over and over in his head.
*****
The body was face down in one puddle. From the path in the mud, one could tell that it had been thrown into the field from a swiftly moving vehicle, and then had crawled slowly away.
*****
Granted, the night held things worse than gossip and politicking – the nightmares, for one – but Wesley felt that somehow darkest night was purer, its decisions, clearer.
