Excerpt: Scavenger Hunt - Part Two

The land of Bedegrayne was an old country, having existed for so long as one nation that even its oldest existing records had been written long after the country’s founding. Long had the Kings and Queens of Bedegrayne, most of them wise but some of them foolish, ruled from the Onyx Throne that sat on the Royal Dais in the Great Hall of the Palace, which itself sat in the center of the great city of Antfortas, the capital of Bedegrayne. The Royal Palace was the jewel in the center of the Old City, and was believed to be the oldest city in all that country, with the Onyx Throne and its matching Onyx Crown, a great deal older still.
