Brief Author Bio:

Hello! I am one of those people who has read more books than they are willing to admit in everyday conversation, and I will admit only to other writers that I often avoid my friends so I can write. I'm editor of my school paper, captain of my tennis team, co-sec general of Model United Nations, and just generally way too involved in everything, which is why I can't tell my parents/coaches/teachers that I'm doing this-- I'm already getting 0 hours of sleep. If you love writing, then I love you! Be my writing buddy; I procrastinate like no other so I can promise I'll have tons of time to check up on your story if you want me to.

My favorite authors are:
Ernest Hemingway (more as a man than an author, even... he once smashed through a window with his head. such a winner. Plus, his quotes are golden. "The first draft of anything is shit" is my motto for NaNoWriMo, courtesy of Hemmingway)
John Steinbeck (Grapes of Wrath. If that isn't enough, Of Mice and Men)
George Orwell (ANNIIIMALLLLLL FARMMMMMMMMMMM. nothing more has to be said/ screamed)
Ayn Rand (even though Glenn Beck is getting radical-germs all over her... Wish he'd stop that, really. Atlas Shrugged is a good book in its own merit, politics aside)
Jonathan Stroud (If you've heard of him, NANOMAIL me!)
Terry Pratchett (see above)
J.K. Rowling (of course; staple of life)
Christopher Paoloni (started Eragon as a teen, and so is a hero of mine)
J.R. Tolkien
DOB and Swaim from Cracked (life goal: to become first female Cracked columnist, even if I have to pretend to be a boy to do it)

Thanks for taking the time to read my bio, or this line, at least :-)

Synopsis: Spark

"Do not let your fire go out, spark by irreplaceable spark, in the hopeless swamps of the approximate, the not-quite, the not-yet, the not-at-all." ~Ayn Rand
