Synopsis: Half Way Home

The business of world colonization is a gamble. You send out enough settlement modules, knowing roughly half will discover viable planets and seed a successfully established civilization. The other half will fail before they even have a chance.

It's a coin-flip, and an extremely lucrative one. But what no simulation ever accounted for, what no expert ever dreamed possible, was a flip of the coin that would land on its edge. A planet perfectly teetering between two designations: "habitable" and "abort." A half-way home.
