Brief Author Bio:

There's too much to say about me. But I'm not here to meet people; I'm here to break the barrier of my procrastination and my fear of imperfection by writing a crappy novel in one month. :D Hmm . . . there's something about this experience that makes me realize my perfectionist tendencies are not so bad. You can't rush art. I'm truly here to learn about myself through writing, even if I don't reach 50k.

Synopsis: Twisted Edge

Twisted Edge is the agonizing collection of journal entries from a lost and forgotten 90's San Diego hardcore band. Derrick and Travis undergo traumatizing events that hurl their rebellious aggression into a downward spiral of despondency, and Asher's the only one sustaining them with optimism. Meanwhile Conrad's smoking and drinking his life away, and Kesler and Rudy are competitively brandishing their virility in mosh pits. Impulsive, confessional, nonlinear, and narrated by multiple characters, Twisted Edge brings to light the dehumanizing violence the hardcore scene promotes, the startling loss of hope after having been raised to think positively, and the destruction of machismo through the screamo subgenre.
