Synopsis: All the Lurking Mothers of God
A semi-autobiographical coming-of-age novel and spiritual comedy about a Catholic girl who is afraid of "miracles" and seeks ways to prevent them from occurring.
(I'm "breaking the NaNo rules" by working on an already partly-written novel that was around 47,000 words at the beginning of Nov. I'm beginning to understand why they suggest writers not work on novels-in-progress ... It can be rough going! But my NaNo writing so far has largely consisted of rambling exploratory freewrites & musings about certain undeveloped parts of my book, and a few new ideas have begun "braiding together" as a result).
