Synopsis: [sa.ma.yo.u]

彷徨う [sah-mah-yoh-oo] (v.) to wander; to drift

Jane has left behind everything she knows on the other side of the world as she takes on a position as an English teacher in Japan. She hopes to find what's been missing in her life, but things go sour as she starts to unravel, and Jane decides to end her life. At the last minute she decides to try and stick it out for the rest of her 1 year contract, but as the pressures of navigating an unfamiliar culture and dealing with colleagues, "friends", and more than friends begin to mount, Jane's world begins to change into something more sinister than she ever imagined.
