An ordinary bloke gets drawn into a world of vampires in an near-future city, a world that he never suspected existed, and finds himself stuck between two warring factions. More to it than that, but I am tired.

It is strange to think back now, that a purple feather started it all. A simple, fluffy feather dyed a cheap purple like something from a fairground sideshow. But then again, I’ve never claimed to actually understand life. If I did, then Therese would never have died, I’d still be on the force and I wouldn’t have gone through the hell that purple feather introduced me to.
