Synopsis: Behind the Closet Door

Henry is a confused and sad young man. His life has not been a happy one and the events leading up to today have all been like pieces of a puzzle, clicking into place, one by one. When the banging starts, he realizes the kind of trouble he might be in.

Excerpt: Behind the Closet Door

Henry started awake and heard the muffled banging sounds coming from the bedroom closet. He remembered where he was and what he had done. What had he done? Nothing yet. He could tell her he didn’t realize what had happened. He could pretend to have been out, not to have known that he had locked her in. It could work. He cautiously opened the bedroom door and paused. The banging had stopped. He crept to the closet door and listened. He could hear her breathing heavily on the other side. That meant she could hear him too.
