Synopsis: World of Ruin: The Engineer of Thei (tentative)
Humanity struggles on in a world without a sun. Dilapidated cities encased in domes dot the landscape, with enormous generators that siphon heat from beneath the planet's surface and rudimentary forms of travel and electricity. Enter the engineer: a member of the guild by the same name, searching for the lost city of Thei. With the technology of the world slowly deteriorating and humanity's hope wilting, he and his dog Ash have been scouring the globe for this ancient, mythical city. A city where the past is the present, technology still runs perfectly, they have electricity abound, and stories say they have advanced cultural technology: computers, networks, information technology, and people who know how to produce and maintain such technology.
No one who has gone searching for this city has ever come back alive. However, Thei may be the last hope for humanity to finally thrive, instead of merely survive.
