Synopsis: Schutzbleche

There's a cafe on a corner where three girls work. They're three best friends: Bea, Bronwyn and Abby.

Abby doesn't want to be there. It's the summer holidays, and she'd rather be at home watching daytime TV and eating all the food in the house rather than making it for others.

Bea's the owner's niece. She made Abby work there as soon as she mentioned nothing was happening this summer. Bronwyn, with a zest for adventure, said yes straightaway.

Abby's world for the next five weeks is going to be full of cat hair, old ladies, German tourists, Bea's creepy cousin, the insane owner and the snake in the grass playing everyone against each other. Or is it more than that?

The only thing Abby know's for sure is it's going to be the summer of a lifetime!
