Brief Author Bio:

I'm a pre-k teacher. I have my bachelor's degree in Art Education and a teaching license for K-12 art. However, I find that teaching in a district setting like we have in the US is just too much work. I'm not the kind of person to dedicate my life to my career. I need to have time for the things that I want to do. I love to make art. Someday my dream would be to just make art for a living. That's why I teach pre-k instead, because it gives me the time to make art and work on building a portfolio. There are so many things that I want to do and want to try that I can't possibly be a workaholic when it comes to my job, even though I enjoy it for the most part. Someday I want to travel to New Zealand, Greece and South America. I want to learn to play the guitar. I have two dogs who I love and adore to spend time with. I watch NCIS every week, and I love to have any excuse to wear a costume! Meanwhile, aside from my usual daily life I am planning my wedding for next June!
