Synopsis: Dial Em For Murder

Dogs and murder go together like Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire, fish and chips or pork scratchings and a pint. In this black comedy Emma Plum, a scatterbrained English ex-pat eccentric and her trusty Lhaso Apso Dudley now transplanted to Baltimore USA find their suburban serenity shattered as a sexy ex-actress Daphne Diamond croaks it under mysterious circumstances. The cops don't seem too interested in the case so Dudley and Emma decide to do some sleuthing of their own. Dudley is sharper than he looks and is soon running rings around the police. He more or less solves the crime even though Emma remains completely cynical about his doggedly detective instincts.
