It's unnatural, what they can do. Did you hear about that girl in Canada who used it to become rich and bend people to her will? Or that man in Russia who was trying to raise up an army? It's for the better, really, that we get them before they get us.

The whispers on the streets, the stories in the paper - they all tell the same thing. The gifts they have are wrong. 'Evil,' is the word told to parents as they watch their children dragged off to be dissected, experimented on, and killed. 'Unnatural' said to partners as their husbands or wives are taken from them. Wrong. Dirty. Different.

There are those who would turn in the ones they love to remain safe, to remain free. It's not safe. It's not fair. It's not right. There is only one place in the world where you can survive if you're 'that way,' yet to so many it seems like just a myth.

Some say it never really existed in the first place. Others say that it was destroyed by a bomb. If you can find someone who knows someone who knows a way, you may find your way to a place where it is said that those that are different are called gifted, and where acceptance may be found.

Sanctuary.
