Synopsis: Nostophobia

Teleportion means you can always escape.
That is, unless you're trying to escape your past.

It is about 100 years from now in a world where teleportation technology is cheap and common. All it takes to get other to the side of the world is a valid credit card and a teleport booth. This creates a new homeless class going from city to city, country to country, rarely staying none place. Socially they range from the idle rich to the destitute. Their one common thread is the desire to escape the world they know, the need to aviod the familar, the fear of returning home.
It has become so common it has earned a name.
