Brief Author Bio:

I started writing a while ago, but only recently I had other people read what has been haunting my head for awhile. Since they didn't run away screaming, I figured I might give this a try, too.

Synopsis: Wolf Hunt

I've been writing a story called Wolf Kin for a while (on my lj) and this story will focus on one of the side characters of my first story. (that's the plan, anyway *sighs*)

Nick is the youngest of three brothers and - like everyone in the family - a werewolf. His oldest brother will take over the pack of Atlanta one day, his other brother is third in the pack hierarchy and his sister has found her mate and is settling down, too. The only one who is not quite as stable is Nick. He feels like he doesn't fit in with the rest of his family and is restlessly travelling the world... until one day in San Francisco things change... Sight-seeing soon is the least important thing on Nick's agenda. Because something is not quite right with the local pack and a mysterious female wolf keeps on showing up.

Excerpt: Wolf Hunt

part of chapter 1:
The amber liquid in my glass sloshed around as I twirled it slowly. It had once been a whiskey on the rocks. The 'rocks' had long since melted away, diluting the fine whiskey. The glass felt warm in my hands. I had no idea how long I had been sitting there, my gaze alternately fixed on the untouched drink in front of me or the patrons of the sad excuse for a bar I had taken myself to.

By the looks the guy working behind the counter was giving me, I had overstayed my welcome by hours. Maybe it was instinct that kept him from confronting me openly. Because although he was well-built and maybe even trained in martial arts, he was just human. He wouldn't stand a chance against me, I was a werewolf after all. And a strong, young dominant male at that.
